Anxiety in Children
Fears and worries are a normal part of childrens' experience growing up. Anxiety, however, can make our childrens' lives difficult affecting their behaviour, social interactions and educational achievement. Child and Adolescent Clinical Psychologist Cate Hey will be speaking on Anxiety in Children.
Specifically this talk will cover what are the general symptoms of anxiety in children; what different types of anxiety children may face; when is your child's anxiety something to seek assistance for and some strategies for managing anxiety in children.
Admission: $5 on the door.
