NZEI Strike Action - School Closure

Dear Parents and Caregivers  

As you may be aware, the union that represents primary school teachers and principals has advised the Board of Trustees of their intention to strike for a full day on Wednesday 15 August 2018.

The Board's primary responsibility is the safety of our students.  We have carefully considered our options and the availability of staff during the strike, and unfortunately decided that the best course of action is to close the school for the day.

Parents and caregivers must therefore make alternative arrangements for the care of your child/children on the day of the strike. We know that this is inconvenient for parents and students alike, and thank you for your understandig.
