2024 RI Music Programme Enrolment

In 2024, the Remuera Intermediate School Music Department is offering music tuition in collaboration with the Lewis Eady Music School. This includes individual and group tuition for beginners and experienced musicians, as well as special interest groups including Ensemble and Pop Bands. A combination of external providers and tutors provides tuition. All music lessons are in 30-minute sessions and run weekly during the school day.

Remuera Intermediate Music Programme

Music Equipment Levy
Please note all students who participate in any of these programmes are required to pay a one-off Annual Music Equipment Levy of $50.00. This is used to cover the cost of maintaining and purchasing musical equipment to support this programme, pay copyright fees and purchase music. Tuition fees are in addition to this levy.

Lewis Eady Music School Tuition
Tuition costs $185 per term for group lessons (3 in a group) and $400 per term for individual lessons, payable directly to Lewis Eady.

This enrolment form must be completed by 3 pm on Friday 9th February.

Fees do vary slightly depending on what lessons students are involved in. Please read the information for each section carefully to ensure you understand what is required and whether the option is appropriate for your child. Depending on interest levels some programmes may change

From Friday the 2nd of February, we will meet with the various groups and conduct auditions as necessary to finalise groups and the programme for 2024. Once classes have been confirmed, invoices will be sent to all participants for payment and schedules will be shared with students and their families.
