Athletics Day 2018

On a cloudless sunny Wednesday 31 October 2018, 320 athletes competed in the school Competitive Athletics Day at Mt Smart Stadium. Events were Track - 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m 1500m and Relays. Field - High jump, Long jump, Discus and Shot Put. From the results, a team was selected to compete at the Central Zones Athletics Championships on Thursday 22 November at Mount Smart Stadium.

Meanwhile, 550 students enjoyed a day of fun team sports on the field at school. Everyone competed in Tug of War, Gumboot toss, Bulls Eye, Capture the flag, Sack races, Track events, Noodle tag, Kingball, Basketball, Dodgeball, Frisbee throwing.  Students had a great time!
