Central Zone Girls Futsal 2019

This year RI was able to field a Year 7 and Year 8 girls team for the Central Zone Tournament. With many of the girls participating in their first Futsal competition it was awesome to see how both teams developed over the day.

Our Year 8 girls finished a commendable 5th out of 16 teams. Our Year 7 team played extremely well over the tournament going undefeated and being crowned the 2019 Year 7 Champions! The girls came up against a strong Kohia team and ended up being a tense final with the girls winning 3-2.
