On Monday June 8th and Tuesday June 9th Remuera Intermediate School hosted the Science Roadshow.
This travelling interactive science extravaganza came complete with 2 informative and entertaining shows, as well as a raft of new interactive displays set up around the school hall, through which students were able to explore a wide range of science concepts.
Fun and learning was had by teachers and students alike!

On Wednesday June 31st and Thursday August 1st Remuera Intermediate School hosted the Science Roadshow.
This travelling interactive science extravaganza came complete with 2 informative yet entertaining shows, as well as a raft of new interactive displays through which students were able to explore a wide range of science concepts.
Twelve Year 8 student demonstrators, comprised of Science Monitors and Science Extension members, assisted the Science Roadshow staff by explaining the various exhibits that were set up around the school hall.

This term the science extension group undertook 2 fieldtrips.
The first was to the Photon Factory @ Auckland University. The Photon Factory is a laser research and product development laboratory within the Physics Department. Students received a tour of the facility and question and answer session with researchers.
